Brandin.com back?

Perhaps you’ve been someone who came across my site over the summer and noticed some things were becoming to spring to life again. I used to have many visitors come to the page. As I started to neglect it, it became a graveyard. I shut everything down in Fall of 2006 due to repeating attempts to hack and deface my pages (thanks to the Brazilians). So I decided to build everything from scratch to give these guys a very hard time!

So what parts of the old brandin.com failed? My attempt to create a “MySpace” or “Facebook” type of site just wasn’t cutting it. You just can’t win and it’s a lot of work to do.

New Areas/Items:
- central.brandin.com: For the blogs
- hydra.brandin.com: For my work to be displayed and shared
- places page uses Google Maps. It will gradually grow as time goes on.
- new “site updates” area
- a preview module of the blogs on the main page

Things left to do:
- finish cleaning old blog entries
- finish some personal content
- load photo album (will take a very long time!)
- add preview module for the photo albums on the mainpage
- enhance security throughout ;-)
- tie-ins with Facebook and YouTube

Basically, I’ve rebuilt everything so I can set it up and let it just sit here for an occasional blog or to post some pictures. I’ve discovered that a personal webpage really helps you in the real world when working with individuals or other companies. That’s why this is here. I hope to have all of this done by the end of the year. Leave me a message sometime, now since things are getting back to normal.
